I would like to congratulate Wello on his 400th game tonight.Good win scored a try and got sin binned,Quite an eventful night

And he's scored 190 -odd tries in those 400 games. Not a bad strike rate at all for a full back. Well done Paul Wellens.

Pauls dad Harry used to play cricket for Parr Ammies.He was a big lad and a very useful player. I've tried to contact harry several times without success. Can anyone help

thats a tough one vinty you could also throw ray dutton into the mix but sprogger was my personal favourite.

My apologies HJ i thought Spruce was the Bulls full back in the 96 and 97 Challenge cup finals that kept dropping the ball allowing Saints to win by the way it`s his birthday tomorrow

that was nathan graham, sprogger did move to bratfut after those cup finals, but vowed to return to widnes when they got into superleague, which he did...
