So pleased that I clicked on this thread!
Brave guy - all that uphill cycling that he did - West Highland Way (96mls Glasgow-FortWilliam!) PLUS Road to the Isles, Skye , Kintail all the way to Inverness, Cairngorms, Aberdeen and Stirling - hope he didn't encounter any midgies.
I actually celebrated my ??th Birthday in Fort William last week (May 9th).
May I offer you this little snippet of cycling prowess filmed on the World Championship Downhill Track at Fort William:

Thanks Ste, Dont think I could keep up with him tho! would be a laff if yer up for it? I think I would of stayed up in the middle of nowhere for the week!!
