I live at the top of the Elephant Lane, considered a quiet area and yet two bodies have been found within half a mile in just over a week.
A man out exercising his dog, tragically fell to his death from the Shirdley Bridge crossing the Linkway and another body of a homeless man was found at the rear of the derelict Station Hotel. He was described by locals as a well known homeless man. I have no idea who he might be. Does anyone know?

Very Sad Times. The latest one at Thatto Heath is reported to be a local man in his 50s.
He has been identified, but it has not been made public as yet.

Not quite sure how the man walking the dog managed to fall off the Linkway bridge - theres barriers along it - it would have to be deliberate.

I was told the poor homeless man was found on a bench and that he'd been there for several days, no wonder the person who found him was so shocked and upset!
