Eddieguff put a photo on another thread of a Pub in Liverpool, which sent me Googling, didn't find that Pub, but found these great photos of Liverpool Pubs.

Used to go into the Blue Ball in Prescot Road when I was serving my time at the BI in Prescot. A guy I worked with was the Doorman there, Billy Barton an ex boxer. Met a bloke called Rex Makin, I think he was a Solicitor or something. He used to arrive with all his followers.

Very interesting post Phyll,some cracking photos,and the history of Ma Egertons,been in countless times never knew anything about her or her history.And the Baltic fleet still there, also a top pub. :thumb: :thumb:
