It was always the Lamb as far back as I can remember into the 1940's .
By the way Mr Tarry used to come to my house to discuss pubs and beer-houses with my son, as we had an extensive card index on them. will have to look and see if I can find the past landlords.

I did post the two Landlords that I found on one of the index cards, don't know right now where the updaed ones are but my son had written down
1871 William McCrae was the Landlord
1876 it was William Richard Davies.
Will try and find the full indices they must be somewhere here.
