What was the name of the shop at the bottom of Bridge St. on the right hand side ( opposite what is now the post office.)
It was THE place to buy jeans ( denims ). (They HAD to be Wranglers)
Used to always get my ice blue jeans from there then get my ma to wash them half a dozen times so that they faded !
This was the days before "stone-washed"

always a levis man myself..................jack barnes and tony sampsons in cottom street were my favourite haunts on pay day.
