I once got caught in Woolworths for swiping some pick & Mix, I was about 9yoa and they made me go home and tell my mum and dad...Now I think back, I never needed to. But me parents give me a good roasting....How stupid was I to tell them!!? And they (Woolies) had the cheek to take my pick and mix off me :((

I thought the main one was re-locating to the new Saints stadium, so it's possible..

aaaaah - you can see how out of touch I am with all things St.Helens :roflmao: .

So what on earth is going to happen to the current Tesco building :dunno: ? Morrisson's and Asda won't want it - and it's so far away from the rest of the Town Centre, that I couldn't image anybody else wanting it either. Maybe become some kind of Leisure facility.

I think that Tesco are hanging on to the existing store for non-food products. I might be wrong now, but I heard that was the plan a while ago.

The last time I heard anything about this. The plan was to split it into smaller units instead of one shop. Don't know if that is true or not.

Wasn't M&S posh back then..I was happy as a schoolkid picking up cards ans chewy in the gutter of the Chix Factory...LOL the things you did as kids.! Does anyone recall 'Mars Attacks'? I saved loads of cards and swopped em for all and sundry but tried my best to keep my best.... Some of my mates had loads of cig wrappers and wanted to swap em, I was always keen to keep my cards because it shown Martians with their brains smashed in LOL.

Oh yuk Pete! I think I remember those cards, but there were loads at the time. Do you remember "The Man From Uncle" cards or The Beatles, and The Monkeys. When you had a complete set they formed a bigger picture on the back. The chewing gum was rubbish though, tasted like soap. :roflmao:
