Anyone attend? From the scoreline it sounds to have been a good nip and tuck game

Messy, but great game to watch. Loads of kids playing because of the injuries and the England game. One teenage lad - Johnson - I'd never even heard of before, but he came on and played great. They made some defence errors but their spirit is brlliant. For example Wheeler was pushed aside in his tackling in a couple of tackles, but to counter that he darted out of the defence line one time, stole the ball straight from the hands of the Hudds player and ran it to the line to score a try, the cheekiest try I've ever seen. The Hudds defence were left standing around with a shocked look of - "he can't do that can he?"

Give it a year or two and Saints will be dominant again when these lads have more experience and form the core of the team.

Of course by then Potter will get no credit for it.

Yeah I went.
Bloody cold it was too!
Good game though. Thought Scott Moore did well.
