i was brought up in newton le willows and round about 1965 we used to go to children's party's where you had to have an empty tea packet to get in, the label was orange and there was a film, and games and a tea party children only, im sure it was p g tips because it was staring the chimps in the adds any memories ?

I remember Brook Bond being in an orange packet with a stamp on it, I think there were chimps associated with the advertising too... I think :unsure:

It would have bee Brooke Bond "Dividend" tea.Each stamp was worth 2d and a full card was worth £1.

Yep, that'll be it.
It made a nice brew like I've never tasted since I was a nipper... maybe it was the sterrie milk that gave it that taste.
