Yeah, I remember it. It was more or less opposite the old reporter office in College St. Do you remember Finches cake shop further up where the cat sat amongst the cakes in the window.

well the cat sat in the window of the chip shop on the fish! yuk , but no we don't remember the cake shop the chippy was next door to joe lanes sweet shop

does anyone have a picture of the children taken just before wembley 1961 taken in gerads bridge victoria street

I Remember Elsie Tipton's chippy very well. I lived opposite at 162 College street, !st house next door to the reporter office. Wasn't your ordinary chippy though, you could buy all sorts from that shop :)

Bridger, I don't know if you know or not but there is a Gerrards Bridge reunion wall on facebook, plenty old photo's on there, and maybe some people you know.

Phyll just type in Gerrards Bridge Reunion on fb search and it comes up, photo's of members and the area , nice to look back .

Thanks Moody, I was typing in Gerards Bridge, not Gerrards Bridge!
