I watched Australia beat Wales 33 - 12 at kick and clap this evening. I felt really soory for the Welsh.

The Aussies played it underhand. They had prop forwards running and passing with ball in hand. They scored a try from a kick and chase into the corner. Their one on one tackling was brutal. They kept the ball alive at any opportunity. The cads were adopting rugby league tactics and the poor Taffs were shell-shocked.

What made it even worse for the Welshmen is that the referee played into the Aussies' hands by whistling at each knock-on. The rotter!

Never mind, the Ireland V South Africa game left a glow of contentment which Wales' defeat was unable to extinguish. That was a victory for the Irish weather. I doubt if the Springboks often play in dense fog. The air was so thick you couldn't kick the ball through it.
