I remember going into his shop as far back as the mid-1960's when I attended St Lukes, and I hope somebody has pictures as requested

I was talking to one of my mates tonight, he lived in Shaw lane, in fact the first house after St Lukes, his name is Alan Renshall, him and his brother Steve used to frequent the shed very often,I asked him about the bloke with the shed, he tells me his name was Ted Mangin, he had two sheds the small one he sold sweets and pop, and the bigger shed had a half size snooker table in,it was a shilling for twenty minutes on the table and a penny for a glass of pop.Alan said all the locals used to be in there,Henry and Kenny Oaks, and all the other lads from round there.

I remember the larger shed in Ted Mangin's back with the big snooker table, but I was never big enough to play on it! Might have only been half size, but it seemed big to me !
