Can anyone tell me where I can find the marriage of Thomas Critchlow and Mary Houghton as I have drawn a blank I know they had a son Joseph born 1883 but I think he must have been illigitimate because I can't find a birth for him only a Joseph Houghton for the same year. I thought the name may have been registered as Critchley as there is a Thomas Critchley and Mary Houghton but when i checked it out it wasn't them as the fathers names were wrong. All I can think now is that they never married and just lived in sin.
I would appreciate any help that anyone can give.
