Not a pretty game and Wigan ran us close but we won and that's all that matters.
Eastmond is very promising and his conversion from the side (as well as his drop goal) gave me hope for the future.
We lost focus and organisation when Kieron went off but, thankfully, regained it when he came back on.
We need to persuade him to stay for another year IMO.
Wellens MOM by a mile.
Says a lot that Wigan are crowing even though they lost.

Very scrappy play from both sides although a tense and enthralling game. Nice to see JJB nearly full for this game

God knows where they got the figure of 22,200 from
An awful lot of tickets went to quite a few organisations for a tenner last week.
And they still couldn't fill it.
I agree that Thaler made some odd decisions (Ainscough's (non) try for one.)
It drives me insane that a pass that's forward by a country mile still leads to a try if the ref doesn't spot it.
Can't we have something like the Hawkeye system they use in Wimbledon?

Agree that the figure of 22,000 seems way of the mark as there were both ends of the west stand sparsely populated and some spaces in the south stand.

And are the Gooners extracting the urine. They kept advertising that all ticket prices for the Whinos game would be £10. Why could they not offer the same concession to Saints last night or did they realise we would pay £16 and still fill the stand whereas Leeds won't.

As for the match result it pains me to admit that Wigan were the better side. Although it must be said the Leeds game seemed to have taken its toll on the Saints players.

All those organisations mentioned by the announcer last night (Army, Navy, NHS, Tennis clubs, Cricket clubs, Uncle Tom Cobleigh and all) were given £10 tickets. My mate (Saints fan who works in Wigan) got one.
But then she would have had to sit with the Goons.
I'd rather have paid full price.
