Saw Les Dawson there, before he was on TV, brilliant two 3/4 hr spots, not a blue joke, brought the house down.
Saw Lonnie Donegan PA system broke down did the whole show without mike brilliant.

seen a lot there eddie,it was a popular place in 60s,a few of us went one night to see of all people p.j. proby
it was cancelled and guess who took his spot at the last minute a chap called lovelace watkins what a load of
shite he was. :P :P

The only time I went to Leigh Miners was about 12 months ago for a no win no fee breathing test :lol:

i went there a few times kendy on a friday night or sometimes we went to westhoughton dog track,also went
to the viaduct club in earlestown. happy days
