I thought that after some of the recent topics we'd have a little poll to see if we can find out what percentage of board members believe that other races are inferior.

Note 1: Don't forget: if you view first you'll lose your vote.

Note 2: this is not about nationality, religion, hair colour or any other daft things.

I can't poll on that, cuz you can't call islam a race, and not all races are inferior but a couple are.

I'd like to be a white supremacist, and I keep looking for ways in which whites are superior, but every time I delve deeper I find there's no real difference. Not when you really look at the evidence with an objective eye.

Similarly, I'd love to be a British nationalist and believe Britain is morally above all other nations, but again every time I delve deeper I find there's no real difference. I'd love to be able to wave the flag with pride knowing we were just that little bit better than all these corrupt African and Eastern countries. Then I find out that the way we get these big defence contracts in foreign climes is by being just as corrupt.

When I see evidence that white and/or British are better then I'll easily slip into flag waving nutter mode. Until then I'm a realist who knows there's no fundamental difference.

Believing this supremacist stuff is just blind faith, but don't, whatever you do, look for evidence to back it up.

So we'll go with that Donks. Some voters either have evidence (which they aren't sharing yet) or they have blind faith that white is superior.

Ever since man stood on his hindlegs and walked upright all issues of race, religion. skin colour and any other definable characteristics have always been subordinated and utilised for purposes of personal power and prestige, ie to make one group more powerful/wealthy at the expence of the other groups. Understand this basic premise and you'll stop torturing your mind about race and religion etc

This probably was to control there food supply, as some animals still do, early wars were based on this fact. Witch promoted food as the thing to fight over just to servive, strongest tribe won. Somehow i dont think early man was bothered with race or religion. this carry,s through to today we all strive for a better living for our family,s.

Thanks sooooooooooooooo much for that. If I had ever thought about sending you a Christmas card, you'd be off the list.

Don't forget the welsh.

Are different races better at certain things than other races?

Blacks seem to make better sprinters in Athletics for example, why is that?

As "race" in the context of this poll is not well defined (are the Irish a "race"?) I think the question should have been more general; something like "Are we superior to them.

Can't swim so good, though.

It's mainly about colours Voll. I edited the first post to say that it isn't about nationalities or religions.

Folk with ginger hair seem to provoke a fair amount of angst. Is this because most of them are Irish?

Is red hair not a characteristic associated with Norsemen? Presumably many people with red hair, Irish or not, are of Scandinavian descent, and the Vikings did a lot of pillaging in Ireland. Is this supposed contempt for red-haired people not based on the perception of Chris Evans, who would have been a k**b no matter what colour hair he had? I don't remember redheads being unpopular before him.
