ANOTHER twist to the Chariots of Fire hit film tale, mentioned earlier.

The Ruskin Drive running track! I've never watched that film all the way through but I remember seeing a bit of it and thinking that it was just like Ruskin Drive. My grandad used to time me with his stop-watch running round that track (I think he only did it to knacker me out).

I irritate the hell out of Mr Ollie every time the film's on with 'that's Ruskin Drive that is!' It's the scene that 's supposed to be the Olympic training ground. Scene opens with loud music (very dramatic) and a guy in a grey tracksuit (possibly a back-to-front cap on his head) doing those side-to-side upper torse twists and arm-swings as a warm-up procedure!

There was supposed to have been a scene done in Cowley Girls School - but I've gone through the film with a fine-tooth comb and can't find anything that looks remotely like the old Girls School. That piece of 'non-trivia' perhaps came from the use of the Cowley Boys changing rooms.
