The clock logo on the crisp packet was a drawing based on the clock which used to be on the old, original pub.

i lived in clock face when it was a small village like b.wood,the lads who were in my class were don robinson,jo roscoe,brian potter,ray brown,peter machel,derek hodson,brian littlewood.that was the council school in green lane. dare not mention the girls
don robinson lived over the road from me, if it's the same one, they had the Elm Tree pub for a spell i think. he is a granddad now
did the school have the outdoor swimming pool in the middle when u were there?
