as I'm coming pretty close to a 'temporary halt' to my other lines, I thought it was time to start on my other major 'lines of interest' in the St Helens area.I have left these up to now, as there is not as much info to get me started. But lo and behold, a relative has 'remembered' that they have an old marriage cert. So, if anyone out there has any links to the following, please let me know. I am only at the initial stages of research now, and will have to wait for spare Xmas money to really get going on buying certs.

I have found some good refs on FreeBMD for the births of John (1901) and Bessie (1899), and one good match for Arthur's marriage. (thanks to the middle name!).
Post here if you have these names in your trees. Even if there is no obvious connection, it will be useful to refer to them as I work my way back in time.
