Bob,

This is that photo of Sandfield Crescent, I have enlarged the number on the door has you can see but the second number is still a bit vague, I get 34 but it could be 36, with your family house number being number 9 it might be on the other side of the street...if there was an other side of the street that is.

What do you think....please note this is not a trick question!

Your Sincerely,

Luis Morals

Dont worry Harry, if you saw them both now you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, you dont need to thank me Harry it was a pure pleaser and dont hesitate to ask again.

Yes...! yes it was me I would have used a pen but I am not allowed to have sharp objects, only chalk and crayons.

Your Dearest

The photo is of Sandfield Crescent about 1933 just prior to the demolition of the street

The street long before that time was considered a fairly desireable place to live and was sort of a good address

My Gt. Gt. Grandfather and his family lived there at number 9 in the late 1860's and left in 1880 .The street was early 1800's I think but Dave or the Connect historians will advise you on this

Regards my St. Helens ex- pat Mate. loads of rellies in Oz myself
