During this Heritage week end there will be a display concerning The Whiston Workhouse.

Pauline Hurst, author of an excellent book on the subject, will give talks at some set times.

There will be an opportunity to see the plans for a replacement Chapel.

Remember that the new Whiston Hospital has evolved from the olf Whiston Hospital, which came into being on the site
of the Old Workhouse.

You can learn all about this by visiting the Town Hall this week end.
