A historian friend has told me that it was never a pub but a beerhouse run by Sal Smart, now if he can find the name that it was known by locally I will be really impressed :thumb:

While I'm muttering to myself :)
If anyone has a new pub names, pictures of pubs or information about any pubs in the list please feel free to add it to the pub or post it.

While I'm still muttering to myself :)

This story isn't right in the Star, Tropics was the old convent on Gerrards Lane and not on the corner facing the police station.

Wasn't it reopened as Tropics rather than Tropical?
