Hello Alan, the wooden spoonist beat you in your own back garden,on the coupon saints where giving them twenty start, who did the saints players back,it was not themselves, like they did at bradford a few years back,
Minerlad who do you think are cheats now,it is not Wigan Warriors. My grandson played there last night for Newton Storm juniors.

Hi Joe,what a shock to read that result!

Joe,I'm too long out of St Helens (40 years next year) to be part of the "Saints are good, Wigan are the pits" movement. I support Saints whoever they are playing but there again I support any West of the Pennines team whenever they play Yorkshire, London, French or Welsh clubs

......but I must admit I supported Warrington tonight on Sky TV in the "knockonathon" that Wigan lost 16 - 23. Error-strewn but a great game nonetheless

So did I!
In fact I've just committed a cardinal sin.
If it means the Gooners don't finish top then I'd be prepared for Dire to beat Saints.
Heresy!

It was a really exciting game. It was a knockonathon as Alan says but it was torrential rain just before kick off so it was very wet. I was screaming for the Wire. So glad they won. And what about the huge big hits! I could hear the teeth rattling from here.

Wigan should have won the game in the first twenty but they didnt,Warrington where the best team after that,it was a good game a lot better than watching the Muppets when they play, and you have to agree on that, not many reports from when the Catalans hammered the Muppets last week.Still top of the league, and the Muppets go to Warrington shortly, you might do Wigan a big favour, but we do not want any favours of the Muppets,we will win it on our own.

Hi all thought the match was good although as usual there were some strange ref decisions. Had to shout for Wigan. We were at my sons and my daughter in law bless her is a Wigan supporter.

One of the best games I've seen on TV all season Joe. To be fair, Warrington should have won it if they'd taken half their chances in the second half.

I thought the Leeds v Wigan game on Friday was a cracker too. Looks like it's going to be Wigan's year

I see the cheating after a certain wigan player is tackled is still being missed by the Refs. In answer to joe90, I was watching Saints play rugby while you were still swimming in the embrotic fluid . In the day of Jimmy Stott and Tommy Stott.

Hello Minerlad, you must be really really old, at your age i am surpriced that you can see the players on the pitch, never mind the cheating that you say is going on, the muppets must be the only team in super league who do not give forward passes, holding down, knock ons, high tackles, offside, late tackles, what a clean team they are,i bet you can remember sonny nickle, one of the dirtiest players ever, who did he play for,if you dont know i will tell you.
