Ooh it feels so good.
A mammoth game.
Saints win it by 24-26.
Should have been more really but a win's a win. :thankyou:

Great narrow victory built on a strong forward performance. It still doesn't atone for losing the last ever Knowsley Road derby though

It wasn't narrow at one point Alan, we were sailing away with it.
Maguire must have really given it to them at half time.
Honours are even now. They beat us at KR and we beat them at the pie dome.
It'll do me.

As a neutral Joe, that game last weekend was a cracker. And in front of a 20,000+ gate too. Just like the old days when Wigan - Saints games were unpredictable.

You forgot to add 'Knowsley Road which is owned by Saints'
unlike the Piedome where you're merely rent boys.
After all the tonkings you've had from Saints in recent years, you're allowed one back.

Alan, it would have been a couple of thousand more, at least, had Sky not tampered with the fixture date to accommodate the World Cup.

I'd have been shocked if Wigan had been beaten by the Wooden Spoonists

Alan the wooden spoonists are in the challenge cup semi final,i know they are not a good team but they are very unpredictable, they have got some very good players there,i wish wigan had a few of them, then we would be unstoppable.

I realise that as a pie eater its not playing the game within the rules that matter, its winning. That you are well used to Wigan players cheating to win at any price.

Probably working.
As it is a St. Helens Forum then where else would I come to celebrate?
May I point you in the direction of Wigan World?
Happy to help!
