There is loads left to blame the losses on Joe......

The worms were sticking up too much.
The birds made whistling sounds like the ref.
The white lines were 10mm too wide.
The were clouds in the sky.
The opposition had the same number of players on their team as St's did......etc, etc.

Hello Rooster,i dont think the fans would blame the worms,or birds or would they,they are getting desperate now.i watched wigan last night,they where very impressive but can they keep it up all season,they are away to warrington next saturday.

And as always, the team that Wigan beat was because they were playing shite.
Lets see what happens when Wigan meets Saints, I wonder, if we win, will they say Saints played shite? of course they will....lol...it wont be Wigan played good.

A brilliant win today!
I listened to it on the radio and thoroughly enjoyed it.
6-38 against the Bulls away from home is a good result and perhaps all the grief laid at Potter's door over the past week had an effect.
It also helped that Pryce had a good game and didn't go missing as usual.
Hard to say who man of the match was but Wellens, Lomax and Roby were mentioned a lot.
I'll go for Wello for his four tries.
And Eastmond for kicking ALL the goals.

I heard it was a good game and Saints played well. I am glad they have picked up

I was talking to my mate who went bradford yesterday,not a lot of stains supporters there,he said it was a good game,then he said that blackbrook amateur rugby club could have beaten them,he said that bradford were rubbish.

I'm 67 years old, have watched Saints whenever possible since I was about 11 and have been convinced for many, many years that the main problem is the supporters, not the team or its management. The team gets its fair share of trophies, wins more than it loses and deserves a far more loyal support base than it gets

Hmm. I don't think so Alan.
Some RL clubs (and I'm sorry to say Wigan is among them) actually seem to care about their supporters.
I too have been watching Saints for a very long time (over 40 years now eek) and, at one point, actually worked in the club.
I have never felt valued in any way despite the fact we buy three season tickets, subscribe to the lottery, buy the merchandise and always buy our away match tickets from Saints.
I remember a thread a while ago where I commented that Saints always put their supporters last and Laner agreed with me. Nothing's changed.
Wigan always has loads of offers on, do some cracking pre-match entertainment and regularly give free tickets out to schools for home games.
I know it's a business but you do have to speculate to accumulate.
Maybe a new stadium with partial seating will help, time will tell.
I feel that Saints could do a lot more with Knowsley Road which would both please existing supporters and attract new ones.
My favourite ground for atmosphere and an all round good day out is Castleford's Jungle.
Loads to do, a choice of bars, games for the kiddies, a plethora of food, it has it all despite having a ground like KR.
At Saints we get a burger fan which is horrendously expensive and, without fail, runs out of chips by half time.
I could weep at the missed opportunities.

From the poor clip they showed on Boots N All tonight it seemed to me that Saints had got their mojo working again.

Pansy Potter doesn't help himself. It doesn't take too much effort to smile does it?
I don't remember any hostility towards Millward when he took up the reins.
But I well remember the fans displeasure after the sacking of Hanley and said Millward.
