They were Trollies and we were C of E

We always said the posh people called them tut tuts

I have never heard them actually called that until my wife asked me to make one

for the kids when they were young and she said can you make a tut tut

I hadn't a clue what she meant!

Back to tut tuts. On Last of the Summer Wine last Sunday, Uncle Wesley made one for Smiler. Being typical Yorkshire gets they called it a trolley though.

We called them tut tuts and we was from greenbank not posh.It was great coming down croppers hill and going round into bourgh rd by syds barbers.Also we used to make a slide in winter there when it was icee beats me how we never went under a bus.

There must have been a line drawn across Stellin .Peterg
Because in Parr/Peasley x / Sutton they were Trollies
Parr was the most populous district
So the majority have it!! :lol: :lol: :rolleyes:

[they were never called trollies down Cowley Hill or Gerards Bridge they were Tut Tuts. all the boys had ambitions to own one. no brakes except your shoes. and no steering on most of them.

Joey Unk! 'Unsworth' was the King at making tut tut`s, he even made one the was like a car! it made it into The Reporter he lived in Manor street and would drive it down Jackson st Manor st and down Molly`s brow!

At the bottom of Manor Street under the railway bridge, It used to flood and we would make rarfts :D
